I wish I could give this phone ZERO stars. Complete piece of crap. Within 2 months of purchase (no physical damage or dropping) the phone began freezing, and the power/lock button no longer works (known issue among Pre's). The bell technician told me that he had sent in 11 Pre's for repair of the power button under the 1-year warranty, and all came back saying they would not fix it under warranty. ON TOP OF THIS, they charged each customer 40 dollars for the cost of having Palm examine the phone!! My phone vibrates randomly and freezes constantly (causing me to have to restart the phone). Had there not been so many problems, I actually love the design, layout, and functionality of the phone.

- Power buttons known to randomly fail
- WORST customer service ever it makes Bell customer service look impeccable)
- Generally an UNRELIABLE phone

My opinion on Palm Pre

After having my HTC phone go out on me after one year, i decided to try the palm pre. I have had it for one year now and this is my review on this phone;
Pros; Compact, big screen, many applications to download.
Cons; Terrible reception. GPS rarely works given the poor reception, Freezes up and have to take out battery to reset, very short battery life.
Overall, i will go back to HTC since Palm has given me such a bad experience. I have never had such a terrible phone.

Absolument PAS un téléphone à conseiller... J'ai eu PLEIN de problèmes avec l'écran tactile, au point que je ne pouvais plus RIEN faire avec, donc j'avais un cellulaire pour rien. et, avec la compagnie Palm, c'est SUPER difficile d'avoir du service et d'être satisfait. De mon côté, PLUS JAMAIS je n'irai vers cette compagnie...
