Very disappointed, do not buy!

I purchased the ZTE C76, signed up for the $15 talk-only plan and I added the $5 long distance plan. The phone feels cheap, but I'm willing to live with that. However I soon realized that the coverage in Montreal is crap. I tried making a few calls from downtown, Westmount, and other central areas and I could only get reception about 50% of the time. Calling long distance (to Ontario) was also a torturing experience. I could hear an echo of my voice and there was a time delay in the conversation. I tried returning the phone (which, according to the information package they gave me, I was able to do since I used the phone for less than 30 minutes), but was then told that I could only return it withing 7 days of purchase. The store manager was rude to me and told me to call customer service since he did not want to deal with me. So I called customer service, I filed a complaint, and I haven't heard from them since then. Why I am not surprised that their customer service is as bad as the rest of their services?
