Direct Connect

Direct Connect's push to talk functionality is built into every Mike handset. Unlike push to talk functionality on mobile phones, Direct Connect works on a different network, iDEN, which makes it more powerful.

With Direct Connect, you can reach your Mike contacts and over 22 million subscribers across North America - at the simple push of a button. It works like a two-way radio, so it eliminates the delays and frustration of voice mail and phone tag.

Use Group Call to reach every member of your team simultaneously, with no need to call each team member separately. Group Call lets you communicate and coordinate with multiple team members all at once - nationwide, quickly and easily.

Push to View

25¢ per message

Using Push to View, you can send picture messages using Direct Connect, which means you can send a picture right in the middle of a push-to-talk conversation or at any time.

Both you and your recipient must have a Push to View capable Mike handset.

Talk Around

Mike Talk Around™ is an all-digital off-network walkie-talkie service that works between Mike handsets within a three km range.

It is the ideal back up in emergency situations, if you're in a remote location where network coverage might not be available.

Talk Around's digital point-to-point, local and non-network method of voice communication operates similar to traditional two-way radio, using public ISM-band spectrum (902-928 MHz).

Because you use it to communicate without connecting to a network, Talk Around is FREE. You and the people you talk to just need to have a Talk Around-capable handset.
