Calling within Canada

Applies to long-distance calls made from and to Canada in NorthernTel and its partners’ coverage areas.

Hi-5 Long-Distance

$15 per month

The new Hi-5 feature allows you to make unlimited local and long-distance calls and text messages to 5 predetermined wireline or cellular phone numbers.

Some conditions apply. Where technology allows. Calls are free if made or received in the areas served by Télébec, NorthernTel or Bell and if they are identified by the carrying cellular network. NorthernTel cannot guarantee that the calls made or received will be free if they originate from a wireline number or from outside of the areas served. These calls will be charge at current regular rate at the moment of the call.

Note: Hi-5 and Hi-5 long-distance features are not available in Cochrane.

MyLong Distance

NorthernTel Mobility is now offering 3 new long-distance features that allow you to add anywhere in Canada long-distance minutes.

MyLongDistance $7:
•  Including 50 long-distance minutes
•  30¢ per additional long-distance minute

MyLongDistance $10:
•  Including 100 long-distance minutes
•  30¢ per additional long-distance minute

MyLongDistance $20:
•  Including 200 long-distance minutes
•  30¢ per additional long-distance minute

Mobile to Mobile with Long-Distance Calling

$15 per month

Unlimited local and long-distance calling between NorthernTel Mobility subscribers.

Mobility calls are free if they are made in area served by NorthernTel or Télébec. Not available in some areas, including, without being limited to, Cochrane. NorthernTel cannot guarantee the gratuity of calls made or received from a wireline number or from outside the territories that it serves. Such calls will be billed at the rate in effect.

Roaming features are available with HSPA +mobile phones and must be added to the customer’s account for at least 30 days running.
