Public Mobile

Public Mobile operates on the CDMA network and officially launched services in Toronto and Montreal in 2010.

In late 2011, Public Mobile launched a 3G network and released two entry-level Android devices.

Only devices sold by Public Mobile can be used on their network, since they are the sole provider worldwide to deploy the CDMA2000 technology in the PCS G band.

Public Mobile's business strategy is to target "low-income, value conscious" consumers. They currently have over 199,000 subscribers.
