Samsung today announced via Twitter that due to an unexpected demand, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III launch in Canada will be delayed until June 27th. Apparently there have been more than 9 million carrier pre-orders to date, but Samsung expects shortages to be short lived as they ramp up production to meet this unprecedented global demand. Those of you who have pre-ordered your device will still be receiving them - you'll just have to wait one more week.
The Samsung Galaxy S III will be available in Canada at the following carriers: Bell, TELUS, Rogers, Virgin Mobile, SaskTel, Videotron, Mobilicity and WIND Mobile.
