AT&T’s unlimited plans give you all-you-can-use talk, text, and data aboard its robust network. The plans also include unlimited international texting from the U.S. to over 120 countries, unlimited talk and text in Mexico and Canada, and automatic fraud blocking.

Both Unlimited Extra and Unlimited Elite include dedicated hotspot data and 4G service in Mexico and Canada. The plans also feature super high data deprioritization thresholds (the amount of data you can consume in a month before your speeds are potentially slowed). Unlimited Starter is a more stripped-down option, although it does feature unlimited talk, text, and data over both borders.

AT&T Plans for Families

AT&T’s family plans result in significant discounts on the carrier’s somewhat costly offerings. You can still get all the perks you want, like unlimited international texting for all unlimited postpaid plans or free HBO with AT&T’s Unlimited Elite plan, but you’re getting more lines for less money per line.

Prepaid AT&T Plans

If you need a mobile plan but could do without the credit check, try going prepaid. With an AT&T prepaid plan, you can choose as much (or as little) talk, text, and data as you need. AT&T will even give you a monthly discount for signing up for AutoPay or adding more prepaid lines to your account—just like it does with its postpaid plans.
